Small Batch Wines

Our wine is produced at Roots Wine Company since we don’t currently own a winery facility on our property. Our winemaker, Chris Berg, lives and breathes winemaking and it shows in his finished product. We are extremely happy to have Chris making our wine. He is excellent at his craft.

In the winery, we:

  • Keep the harvested fruit at a controlled, cool temperature to keep the fruit stable and prevent unwanted early fermentation from the vineyards wild yeasts.
  • Cold soak our fruit to extract tannins and improved color from the grape skins.
  • Age our wine in neutral, French Oak barrels to enhance the ageing process thus improving smoothness and balance in the wine.
  • Only produce small lots of wine to concentrate our energy on premium Oregon Pinot Noir.

2016 Estate Pinot Noir

Our 2016 Estate Pinot Noir is a vivid garnet color in the glass with scents of ripened black currant, vanilla and a whiff of citrus. In the mouth, it has a luscious core of dark cherry, black currant, a hint of cassis and warm spices that linger through a bright and clean lasting finish. It will pair well with a salmon and mushroom risotto dinner or your favorite brie or goat cheese.

Our 2021 Estate Pinot Noir is a beautiful wine with fruit forward aromas of strawberry, honeysuckle and watermelon. This vintage has a very good structure, good tannins and a nice balance. It is elegant with a hint of leather, vanilla and cotton candy. It will pair well with pasta and marinara dishes and will present beautifully in a sipping glass all by itself.

2023 Estate Pinot Noir

Our 2023 Estate Pinot Noir is a beautiful wine with fruit forward aromas of currants and wild berries. This vintage has an excellent structure, good tannins and a nice balance. It is elegant with a hint of vanilla and wild berries. It will pair well with marinara dishes, steak and will be wonderful in a glass all by itself.
